EPP Addiction, Part 1, April 2014

We had another fun English Paper Piecing Addiction club meet, with inspiring Show and Tells.  Marilyn has been collecting small tins to store her projects.  You can use adhesive magnets in the lid as needle holders, and store thread bobbins or papers for a project all together.  Thanks for the tip, Marilyn!

Marilyn also has several works in progress, including a pentagon bowl (with a hexagon base)

and some tiny fussy cut hexies.  We're looking forward to see what these grow up to be.

Donna is playing with paper, just making bright colored honeycomb shapes.  When she gets enough done, she'll decide whether to applique them down to a background or add squares to set them together, or find a whole new way to put them together!

Sharon is making good progress on her Hexie Table Mat, made from a Back Door kit.  She and Dorinda brought in the best bobbin holders.  These would be great to keep the thread you need for your current project handy, with no unraveling.  Plus, they're easy to get and so cute!

Dorinda is also making good progress on her Lucy Boston blocks.  This one is from fabric by our friend Edyta Sitar.

There's another part to this post, so stay tuned!
